Moonwater reveals how your words manifest your reality. She shows the misguided notion that venting is only good and has no bad consequences. She provides a powerful prayer to the Goddess. You ask the Goddess for Her help to shift from anger to peace within.

Have you seen friends abandon you because of your Wiccan faith?
Three former friends come to mind. They’re gone. I miss them.
But then I realize this question: “What will I dwell upon?”
Imagine the Goddess was here to coach me. She might say, “Moonwater, let this go. It’s all right.”
Or…
The God might coach me with this comment: “Who cares? Let them go.”
Well, let’s look at that “Who cares?” part.
It reminds me: “Does caring about the people who chose to leave my life help me at all?”
We’re talking about how we experience our daily life.
If I think about the former friends whose prejudices led them to leave … it won’t change anything. Except it drains my energy. Thinking about them makes me feel bad.
But I could dwell upon a completely different idea.
When a friend chose to reject me due to Wicca, they closed a chapter of my life. A chapter that had them in it.
One thing is: A “fair weather friend” leaves … and my schedule opens for other people to come in.
Okay.
Here’s a prayer you can use:
Lord and Lady, Help me not dwell on the doors that shut in my life And help me heal from the loss of the friends who leave. May I dwell in your Divine Shining Light. So Mote It Be
May these insights support your path.
Blessed Be, Moonwater

It took weeks to get a medical appointment for an MRI scan. Then today, medical team members of another department taped a heart-monitoring device on me.
Poof! That threw away my MRI scan appointment.
Grrrrrrr.
It feels like a bunch of time wasted. New frustration. What can I do with this?
“Uh, hello, Goddess, what can I learn from this?” – it’s a thought I had.
[[Go with the flow. Surrender. Be grateful for what you have.]] – an intuitive thought that arose.
Grateful for what?
That my body works. That I’m still here with my husband, with my parents, and with my glorious cat, Magick.
What?
Earlier today, a car racing on the other side of the highway raced toward me. With its turn signal on.
Well, the genius driving the car merged over, demonstrating that he would be making a turn. But he apparently did not know the turn signal was on.
**An accident almost happened.**
I AM grateful that no accident occurred.
So I say,
“Okay. Goddess, I AM grateful for every blessing. Help me empty the “can” of mental garbage.”
Here’s a prayer you can use.
Goddess, Help me empty the can of mental garbage I have collected. Open my eyes to all the blessings You give me. So Mote It Be
May these insights support your path.
Blessed Be, Moonwater

Yeah, I flunked kindergarten. This made me into “compliant girl.” I had to live up to my parents’ standards about my grades and more. By the way, eventually, I was diagnosed as a person who has dyslexia.
So, there’s that phrase “live up to.”
As a girl, if I said anything original and an expression of my true self, I was chastised.
Yes, these were the parents who dragged me to THEIR church.
Recently, I had a conversation with a spiritual elder. The topic of “live into” versus “live up to” arose.
We, Witches, are called to LIVE INTO the divinity the Goddess and God placed within us.
We do not need to gain someone’s approval.
Each one of us is a unique expression of that divinity.
I remember one of my early boyfriends. I did not feel comfortable expressing my Wiccan spiritual path. So, I said nothing.
Are you finding that you tend to “live up” to someone else’s expectations?
What if you were free to “live into” your true spiritual path and destiny?
Here is a prayer you can use.
My Gracious Lady, Help me let go of others’ limiting expectations, Lord of the Greenwood, Help me live into my true destiny! So Mote It Be
Moonwater reveals how to endure the death of a dream and make space for new possibilities and new dreams. She refers to the process with a forest fire that makes space for new seedlings to grow. Learn a prayer to invite Goddess to support your transformation.
Do you know what sells more than sex? Rage. The algorithms in social media are, reportedly, geared to make people react in anger or rage.
Anger in times of chaos is understandable. In fact, my new book, World On Fire: How Witches and Wiccans Transcend the Chaos and Find Their Peace, has three sections on anger. Also, not-a-fun fact, the word “anger” shows up 45 times in this book. Good news: There is a section about how to shift so you can get sleep even if you start angry.
Here, let’s talk about shifting away from falling into a reaction. When you pause and take a breath, you can make a transition to a healthy response. Not a reaction.
Breath of the Loving Goddess
Breath supports and heals you.
So, take a deep breath in, and breathe in the love of the Goddess.
Hold…
In your mind, say, “I breathe in peace. Goddess, thank you.”
Then exhale.
In your mind, picture tension, stress, and pain exiting your body as if you are exhaling black smoke out of your mouth.
In your mind, say, “I breathe out all stress, pain, and tension.”
Repeat this process 9 times.
A warning: As with any form of exercise or exertion, consult with your doctor. Some people may need to be careful about getting lightheaded or hyperventilating.
Have you heard that researchers point to 15% of men (in the U.S.A.) report having no close friends? That is a fivefold increase from 1990. Back then it was only 3% of men reported having no close friends.
I add this to our conversation because we all need support and even opportunities to be kind. For my readers who are covens, it creates community.
So, let’s practice putting a metaphorical “pause” on the destructive thoughts.
Ask yourself, “What would Goddess say?”
Listen for something positive. Something supportive. Something that inspires you to grow and enjoy your spiritual path.
What if you do NOT have to stay afraid or angry during this current time of chaos? Are you disgusted with the corrupt leadership? What about people losing life-saving healthcare? We, witches, can recover our balance. Moonwater reveals essential actions so you CAN bring back your peace. Discover a prayer that comforts you – even when worries and fears abound. You can connect with the divinity that the Gods placed in you.

Samhain is the final harvest Sabbat of the year. At this time, the last crops are gathered and put into storage for the cold winter’s months. The God makes His ultimate sacrifice at this time. But fear not, His sacrifice is a willing one, for he does this for his children. The God is symbolized by the last of the harvest. He (the God of the harvest) is cut down (sacrificed) at this time so that we may have food to last us through the winter. The “Johan Barleycorn” songs came from this.
At this time of the year, the cattle and pigs are culled, keeping only the ones strong enough to weather the harsh winter months. The meat is then salted and cured so that the people would be able to survive the long winter.
Samhain is also known as the witches’ New Year. The Celts felt that this was the beginning of the year. The reason for this is that they believed a new life started at death. You needed to die to be reborn into a new life. That is just what the God has done with His sacrifice. He now resides in the underworld, awaiting birth at Yule.
Samhain is also the time to communicate with the dead. The Veil between the worlds is the thinnest at this time. The Veil is the doorway or curtain that separates the land of the living with the land of the dead. Contact between the two worlds is now easily accomplished. So, contacting past loved ones is common on this Sabbat. The dead are honored at this time. An example of this in today’s modern society is Mexico’s Day of the Dead.
The Wheel turns to represent death at this Sabbat, only to continue turning at Yule, to the beginning, representing life and rebirth. The eternal cycle of reincarnation is celebrated during Samhain. The old God dies to be reborn at Yule.
