“Joney is so pushy about data, data, data,” my friend, Marsha, said.
She was right about that!
“And you put in your intuitive thoughts,” I said.
“Yeah. But Joney gets stuck. Our conversations are so uncomfortable…”
“Until you two finally find a new idea…often beyond both of you tossing in a first guess,” I said.
Joney and Marsha, as friends, are like two puzzle pieces. Both are different. Both are essential.
Here are some insights about parts of life fitting together.
1. Everything is interconnected like a spider’s web.
“Poetry is a fresh morning spider web. Telling a story of moonlit hours of weaving and waiting during the night.” – Carl Sandburg
The person who weaves a poem—or other artwork—puts in meticulous effort.
The same happens for a witch’s fulfilling life.
Hours of weaving and waiting…
Spells are like poems. We use poems in spells.
What in your life needs such care, time, and effort?
A fine arts painter is in my circle. It’s interesting that he makes the “puzzle pieces” of his artwork and puts them together in one painting.
Are you making new facets of your life?
2. Sometimes you want puzzle pieces to fit together—and they do not.
Many years ago, I had a particular boyfriend. I thought I could live with someone who smoked tobacco. Well … that did not work.
We, witches, observe well. Sometimes, we observe that what we hoped would fit … does not.
Is there something not fitting in with your life?
3. You can find a real fit when you let go of distractions.
“If that which thou seekest thou findest not within thee, thou wilt never find it without thee.” – Doreen Valiente
For me, this quote says, “If you don’t find your answer inside, you’re not going to find it outside.” I believe the Goddess speaks from within me.
Outside stuff can often be mere distractions.
I remember during my day to pause, breathe, and ask for Goddess’s guidance.
When do you want the Goddess’s guidance?
May these insights support your path.
Blessed Be,
Moonwater

In today’s episode, we explore how witches deal with their own depression. Sharing personal experiences, Moonwater discusses the concepts of structure, support, and spirituality, inspired by two authors.
Learn how a structured routine, support systems, and spiritual practices can help handle feelings of worthlessness and low energy. Discover the interconnectedness of mindset, heartset, healthset, and soulset, and how they play a role in mental health. Moonwater teaches how you can feel better.
My friend, Francesca, felt the tornado rise in her chest.
She was furious. But it was not her sister’s fault.
It was her awful father she had to face in two hours.
But she didn’t think that at the time.
She was just on edge—no—she was totally out of control.
She retreated and barely made it to the bathroom.
She looked into her own eyes…and she felt that she had lost a big part of herself. This anger, the feeling of being out of control, was not the person she wanted to be.
I have three insights for you.
1. Identify you’re out of control.
Ask yourself…
“Did I just say something I don’t mean?”
“Look at my hands. Am I so anxious that I shouldn’t drive a car?”
You may be feeling out of control.
If so, stop. Pause. Breathe.
And look at this next step.
2. Place boundaries and create space.
Often, we must stop. Pause. Breathe. Because someone or something is crashing into our life.
Some people drain our energy. Some might call those people “leaches” or toxic people.
You may need to set up some boundaries. Maybe something like, “I don’t talk to my ex-husband after 6:30 pm. We’ll talk about the kids before then.”
If you feel out of control, you may need to create space for yourself. Space to breathe. Space to be in a calm, peaceful mode of being.
Someone may have been a “friend” but now they are a “frenemy.” Maybe they are a narcissist.
Protect yourself. Protect your personal energy. Place boundaries and create space.
Regain control of your personal energy and personal space.
3. Say a Prayer to bring your calm self back.
I like doing this simple prayer/rite with my husband when we feel impacted by stress. This is part of a grounding and centering process.
We breathe in deeply and say:
God and Goddess.
Thank you.
We are loved.
We are safe.
God and Goddess bless us.
We are grateful and strong.
So Mote It Be.
May these insights support your path.
Blessed Be,
Moonwater

Moonwater shares an inspiring story about her friend Carrie, who had to navigate a complex decision involving her career choices. Carrie learned about trusting her intuition.
Moonwater shares the significance of acting on intuition. In our daily lives, we face an inner conflict between the Voice of Fear and the Voice of Intuition. Moonwater elegantly emphasizes listening to your intuition to fulfill your destiny.

“What happens when coven members have a big disagreement?” my friend, Sandra, asked.
“Each coven tends to have its own rules on disagreements. Also, each coven looks to their Tradition,” I began.
And, here are some thoughts that may help.
1. Seek the leadership of the High Priestess or High Priest.
You go to the leader. Ideally, the leader listens as the concerned people each take a turn to express their views.
2. Ask, “Is there anything else you want me to know?” and then listen.
The leader of the coven listens carefully.
Then when the person appears to have fully expressed themself, one can ask another question. Is there anything else you want me to know?
This shows that the leader cares. It also helps to say back what was said. Then ask, “Do I have that about right?”
The person will confirm it or add some more.
3. Discover together “The Third Alternative.”
In a disagreement, one may find two opposing ideas. If people keep up the discussion, it is possible to find a “third alternative.” Person One wants Alternative One. Person Two wants Alternative Two.
The answer may be the Third Alternative—an idea beyond both suggestions.
You might add a prayer:
Goddess,
Guide us to find a Third Alternative.
May we develop a way to support the whole coven.
So Mote It Be.
May these insights support your path.
Blessed Be,
Moonwater

Moonwater Silverclaw delves into the empowering process of transforming anger into determination. Moonwater shares personal experiences and illuminates the path for others using crucial insights and spiritual guidance. This beautifully executed episode tells the tale of transformation, providing a pathway for individuals on their journey of self-discovery.

Many years ago, I was new to Wicca. I needed a magical name.
One night, I asked Goddess to please give me a magical name.
I woke up in the middle of the night—my whole body vibrating.
I heard “Moonwater.” I knew instantly that was my magical name.
Would you like to find something definite in your life?
I have three insights for you.
1. Let go of a rigid pattern.
My friend, Athena, finds herself thinking about this one mean coworker after work.
At a picnic, I saw an upset look come upon her face.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
“I’m okay now,” she replied.
“What was that?”
She took in a deep breath. “Just a thought, that I’m letting flow down the stream.”
That’s a powerful method. Athena decided to not let thoughts of her mean coworker interfere with our picnic with friends.
What thought do you need to just flow down the stream?
2. Connect with the element of water.
Water flows and can wash away negative energies. Ritual bathing is a good choice if you’re not feeling good. You may have extra unwanted negative energy clinging to you. When you take a ritual bath, you release yourself from such negativity.
Let water renew you.
3. Pray to the God and Goddess.
When you need the Power of Flow in your life, consider saying a prayer like this:
My virile Lord and lovely Lady,
Connect me with the Element of Water.
Empower me to let negative thoughts flow away
Like on a stream of water.
Let me embrace the sun
Of Your Wisdom and Grace.
So Mote It Be.
May these insights support your journey.
Blessed Be,
Moonwater

Moonwater explores the intriguing intersection of tarot and happiness, drawing on years of experience and deep-seated wisdom.
Moonwater begins with an interesting reflection, suggesting that more cards in a tarot spread equals greater information. Through this lens, she considers happiness as a five-card spread composed of varying elements such as health, wealth, and purpose.
To our ancestors, Beltane celebrates the beginning of summer. Bale or “bon” fires are an important part of the Beltane Sabbat. All fires at home or in shops were extinguished and then re-lit from the sacred bonfires that blazed on the tops of the surrounding hills. This was also the time when the herds were blessed. The people marched their cattle around and between the bonfires to bring good luck and fertility and to protect them during the year.
The Sabbat Beltane, coincides with when the God actually impregnates the Goddess. This sacred act ensures the continued fertility for crops and animals throughout the light half of the year (between the Spring and Fall Equinoxes.) A popular symbol for this sacred act, the May Pole represents the impregnation of the goddess. A May Pole is a pole set erect in the ground with ribbons attached on the top. People then each take a ribbon and dance in a weaving pattern around the pole. The pole represents God’s phallus and the colorful ribbons that the dancers wind around the May Pole represent the goddess with her flowers a-blooming. And so the impregnation of the Goddess is fulfilled.
Blessed be,
