“Surgery again?” my friend, Kim, asked.
“This time went better,” I replied.
Years ago, when I had my first surgery that removed my spleen, I did not ask the Gods for Their intervention. I’m still surprised about that.
In recent days, I had surgery again. It was significant because the surgical team used anesthesia to have me fully unconscious.
For this surgery, I put my spiritual tools into action.
I have three insights for you:
- Talk with the Goddess
In my previous surgery, I just resigned myself that I would either live or die.
This time, I talked to the Goddess and asked Her to keep me safe. During a quiet time as I talked with the Goddess, deep in my heart, I felt Her support. I had the feeling of being serene and that everything was going to be just fine.
I invite you to use prayer, and you can just speak to the Goddess in your own thoughts.
- Ask your community for support with rituals and prayer
I invited people in my circle to do a candle ritual to support me to have a successful surgery, to keep me safe, and to keep me free of surgical complications.
- Consider divinatory tools
When I spread the Tarot cards, I saw a positive message. This message was clear and to the point: I was going to be okay. The positive reading helped me feel secure in that I was going to flow well through surgery and the healing process.
(Special Note: If you have a reading that causes you discomfort, then turn to the Gods for Their guidance. You can ask for the Gods’ intervention.)
I invite you to turn to your spiritual path and spiritual tools during the big and tough situations of life. Ask the Gods for help. You are likely to find that They help you achieve peace where strife may be.
May these insights support your path.
