“Do you think that when I say, ‘I was afraid before I showed up for my book signing,’ that my friends understood?” Stanley, an author I know, asked me.
“Probably not,” I replied.
“Yeah. Okay,” he said. Then he shrugged. In our conversation that followed, Stanley observed that he could let go. He did not need his friends to think he showed courage. He did not need external validation.
Have you ever thought about the gift of divinity that the God and Goddess put into each one of us? Imagine that you can have “internal validation.”
How?
It relates how you view your soul and your soulful journey.
Years ago, I had an experience. I was about 19 years old, and I sat down on the deck floor – at the back of my parents’ home.
In my meditation, the God and the Goddess appeared on either side of me.
Their loving energy, like a warm blanket, enfolded me.
My value is not from what I do. It’s from Their Love and my own essence.
How can you find your own essence?
Consider meditation, talking to the Gods, and walking in nature.
Here’s a prayer you can use:
Goddess,
Hold me in Your arms.
Guide me to experience my essence.
Assure me of my true worth.
So Mote It Be.
