When Can You Risk Revealing Your Spiritual Path?

“I don’t know if I should tell Ginny that I’m Wiccan,” Wendy, a new acquaintance, said.
We talked for a while.

As I reflected on this, I realized much is involved in such a personal decision. The following six questions can help you.

Prepare to really observe the other person so you can assess if the person is trustworthy.

Here are questions that can help you protect yourself from an unnecessary risk in revealing that you’re a Wiccan or witch.

  • Is this person open-minded?
  • Is this person respectful of others’ beliefs?
  • Does the person badmouth other people and/or their beliefs?
  • Is the person trustworthy?
  • Can the person keep a secret?
  • Does the person tell other people’s secrets?

Does this feel intense to you?
Have you noticed that sometimes the best answer is to hold your silence?

Here is a prayer you might consider.

Lady,
Guide me to the right people for myself and my tribe.
Lord,
Protect me from the mistakes of my choices.
Gods, let me find th
e people that will help me grow on my path in a positive way.
So Mote It Be

May these insights support you.

Blessed Be,
Moonwater
